Culturally Safe Care
I warmly welcome Indigenous clients and offer compassionate and decolonizing care. My approach is guided by Two-Eyed Seeing and recognizes the ongoing impact of colonization, systemic inequities, racism, grief, loss, and intergenerational trauma on mental health and relationships. My work honours identity, values, and community connections.
Therapy can be a place to slow down, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and find steadier ground, emotionally, relationally, and in your body. We’ll work in a way that supports calm, clarity, and self-trust, whether you’re navigating relationship stress, family dynamics, trauma, loss, overwhelm, self-doubt, people-pleasing, shutdown, or feeling on alert. Together, we can strengthen boundaries, reconnect with your voice, and shift relational patterns that no longer serve you.
My work is trauma-informed and attachment-based, integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for relationship healing, Internal Family Systems (IFS) for processing trauma, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for practical coping tools. Sessions are paced with care, choice, and collaboration. You will find a safe and respectful space to tell your story, express your emotions, and access your strengths and resiliencies.
