Michele Riel
MA, Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)
Originally from Winnipeg, I’m now based in the Greater Toronto Area and offer virtual therapy to clients across Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Newfoundland. With degrees in Counselling Psychology, Kinesiology and Physical Education, I approach therapy through a holistic lens. I believe well-being is shaped by how we think and feel, how we relate to others, how we make meaning, and how our bodies carry stress and resilience. My approach is person-centred and collaborative—blending insight and experience with practical steps you can apply in everyday life.
I'm a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
In therapy, you can build skills to calm your system when you feel overwhelmed and to re-energize when you feel depleted. You’ll learn to notice early signals in your thoughts, emotions, and body so you can respond sooner with healthier choices, such as better boundaries, pacing, grounding, and self-care. As regulation strengthens and stuck patterns change, so too will your mood, energy, and connection with others, helping to support greater calm, inner peace, and overall well-being.
